     Catherine was the baby who was born six weeks after the family's arrival in Australia. She married late in life and became the step-mother to John's three sons. He was a hairdresser and tobacconist in Waymouth Street and they lived in Huntriss Street Torrensville. After his death Kate made her home with Sarah's daughter Ethel at Leader Street, Forrestville. Catherine was born at Gawler, S.A., AUS, , circa 1865. She married John Hollow at Baptist Church, Flinders St., Adelaide, S.A., AUS, , on 1 April 1909.² As of 1 April 1909,her married name was Hollow.² Catherine died on 31 May 1947 at Adelaide, S.A., AUS.³

     Robert was born at Patadown, ARM, IRE, , on 12 February 1848. He married Margaret Hollow at Gulgong, N.S.W., AUS, on 13 January 1880.¹ Robert died on 21 March 1930 at Wellington, N.S.W., AUS, at age 82.

     John was born in 1862. He married Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hollow at Gulgong, N.S.W., AUS, on 26 December 1886. John died on 20 June 1948 at Wellington, N.S.W., AUS.

OBITUARY
MR. JOHN COURT
With the death of Mr. John Court, of 'Hillside,' Gollan, at a Wellington Private Hospital on June 20 last, Wellington district lost one of its oldest pioneers. Aged 86 years, deceased played an important role in the successful development of the farming and grazing possibilities of the Gollan district.
The late Mr. Court was an only child, coming to Australia with his parents at the age of 13. The trip from the Motherland lasted 100 days, and he and his parents took up residence in South Australia. Eventually they came to live at Canadian Lead, near Gulgong, where they resided for a few years. Early in 1886, deceased, in company with the late Mr. John Hollow, settled in Gollan, which was then named Lower Spicer's Creek.
The two men selected blocks of land adjacent to one another and were soon actively engaged in farming and grazing pursuits. On Boxing Day of the same year, Mr. Court married Miss Elizabeth Hollow, of Canadian Lead, and brought her to his new home at Gollan.
The late Mr. Court was a foundation member of the Gollan branch of the Farmers and Settlers' Association, which was formed on June 26, 1909. Deceased was a keen and active man right through life, even up to the morning that he died.
His wife predeceased him about thirteen years ago, and two sons, John and George, died at an early age. John died of illness in Liverpool camp during the 1914-18 war and George passed away at the age of seven. A daughter, May (Mrs. Tom Hubbard) also predeceased him. Deceased is survived by two sons, James (Tempe) and Norman (Gollan) and four daughters, Una (Mrs. W. J. Green, of Tempe), Ida (Mrs. T. W. Yeo, of Gollan) , Stella (Mrs. J. Lockrey, of Gollan) and Ruby (Mrs. R. J. Campbell, of Gollan). Also surviving are 27 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The funeral took place on Monday, June 21, after service in the Wellington Baptist Church
at which the Rev. E. Walsham officiated.
The remains were later interred in the Baptist portion of the Wellington Cemetery. Rev. Walsham officiated at the graveside and Messrs. C. J. Shakespeare and Sons had charge of funeral arrangements.

He married Catherine (Kate) Hollow at Church of St Peter, Woolloomooloo, N.S.W., AUS, on 3 June 1891.^1,2 The marriage of Matthew Henry Bougen and Christina E Rumble was registered in the (an unknown value) in the an unknown place registration district.³ Matthew died on 19 March 1943 at Canterbury, N.S.W., AUS.⁴

     Florence was born in 1868. She married John Hollow at Wellington, N.S.W., AUS, on 7 December 1893. As of 7 December 1893,her married name was Hollow. Florence died on 1 April 1957 at Wellington, N.S.W., AUS.

     Samuel was born at Birmingham, West Mid, ENG, , circa 1867. He married Mary Loretta Hollow at St Barnabus' Church, Mill Hill, Waverley, N.S.W., AUS, on 22 January 1913.¹ Samuel died on 10 July 1949 at Bondi, N.S.W., AUS.

     Eric died. Eric was born. He married Mary Isabella Stewart in 1887 at Dubbo, N.S.W., AUS.¹ He married Emily Hollow at Gulgong, N.S.W., AUS, on 21 June 1897.²

     Margaret was born at Gulgong, N.S.W., AUS, , on 21 October 1879.¹ She married James Henry (Jim) Hollow at Gulgong, N.S.W., AUS, on 31 July 1901. As of 31 July 1901,her married name was Hollow. Margaret died on 11 September 1966 at Gulgong, N.S.W., AUS, at age 86.²

     Clara was born at Mudgee, N.S.W., AUS, in 1870.¹ She married Richard Charles Hollow at Gulgong, N.S.W., AUS, on 20 October 1901. As of 20 October 1901,her married name was Hollow. Clara died on 17 October 1908 at Gulgong, N.S.W., AUS.

Obituary
With a deep sense of regret we have to chronicle the death of Mrs. R. J. Hollow, of Canadian, which sad event took place on Monday morning. Deceased, who was only 38 years of age, was a daughter of Mr. E. Webb, of Everton, Wilbetree, in which district she lived all her life and was loved by her wide circle of friends and acquaintances. Her gentle and sunny disposition as a child made her a universal favorite, and these characteristics became even more pronounced as the years of womanhood approached. She was a loving mother and devoted wife, and the hearts of the people who knew her here, went out in sympathy for her bereaved husband and three little ones. She had been ailing for some considerable time, and although she know that her end was approaching, she bore up with Christian fortitude, and till within a few days of her death her vivacity was a predominant note, which was always remarked on. The funeral took place on Tuesday and was largely attended.

DEATHS
Mrs. Hollow
News was received on Friday last of the sad death of Mrs. Hollow, widow of the late Mr. Richard Hollow, of 'Wilga Doon,' at the age of 62 years. One of Canadian Lead's most loved and highly respected residents, deceased was well known in, and a very popular visitor to, Gulgong. She will be sadly missed by her many friends.
Mrs. Hollow was on a visit to her sister, Mrs. Roth, at Woodford, when she took ill. She passed away in the Katoomba Hospital. Prior to her marriage Mrs. Hollow was Miss Florence Wurth, of Eurunderee.
She leaves a sorrowing family of five children to mourn their loss. They are: Dalwyn (Canadian Lead), Renell (Canadian Lead), Wilga (Mrs. Les Dorman, Lahey's Creek), Richard (Tucklan), and Myra (Mrs. Frank Narracott, Queensland).
The burial took place in the Church of England portion of the Gulgong cemetery on Saturday afternoon after a very impressive service in St. Luke's Church, the Rev. Howard Ellis officiating. Funeral arrangements were in the hands of Wood Coffil, of Katoomba. Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved.
