Hollow, Jack – of Clio, age 92, died Saturday November 28, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio with cremation to follow. Rev. Fr. Gerald J. Ploof officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 3-9 PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM. Contributions in Jack's memory may be made to the Flint Junior Golf Association or the charity of one’s choice.
Jack was born June 9, 1917 in Plymouth, England to the late Charles and Minnie (Moulder) Hollow and lived in the Clio area since 1973. John served in the US Army during WW II. He married Lucy Ellison on June 19, 1965 in Otisville. Mr. Hollow retired form Chevrolet V8 Engine in 1980 and was a member of the UAW Local #659. He loved golfing, also enjoyed poker, going to the casino and doing puzzles.
Surviving are: wife Lucy; 3 daughters, Rose (James) Adams of Flint, Vicky Hollow of Clio, Cindy (Tim) Morley of Topinabee, MI; 3 grandchildren, Jon, Elli and Benjamin; nieces: Mary (Ralph) Berger and Faith (Robert) Kisel, both of NC. A sister, Isabelle Willett, also preceded him in death in 2005.

She married Richard Frederick (Fred) Willett at Flint (Genesee), MI, U.S.A., , on 25 December 1931. Isabelle Minnie Faith Hollow died on 7 October 2005 at Hendersonville, NC, U.S.A., at age 93; Isabel M. "Belle" Willett, 93, of Hendersonville passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care's Elizabeth House following a period of declining health.
She was born in Plymouth, England, a daughter of the late Charles Hollow and M. Moulder Hollow and had also resided in Flint, Mich. and Cape Cod, Maine prior to moving to Hendersonville.
She was a member of the National Clock and Watch Association and was a charter member of Meals on Wheels. An active church member, she was a member of the Union Circle Congregational Church of Cape Cod, The First Congregational Church of Hendersonville, was a church organist and enjoyed writing poetry and artist sketching.
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Frederick R. Willett, whom she married December 25, 1931; two daughters, Mary Berger and her husband Ralph of Hendersonville and Faith Kisel and her husband Bob of Advance; a brother, John Hollow of Clio, Mich; three granddaughters, Jodi Hartman of Ashville, Ohio, Sandra Lockwood of Lexington and Becky Pellerito of Taylor, Mich; three great-granddaughters, Alyssa and Devi Ghosh of Ashville, Ohio; Atalie Pellerito of Taylor, Mich., and a great-grandson, Caleb Pellerito of Taylor, Mich.

     Richard was born at Flint (Genesee), MI, U.S.A., , on 3 August 1911. He married Isabelle Minnie Faith Hollow at Flint (Genesee), MI, U.S.A., , on 25 December 1931.

     Charles was born at Flint (Genesee), MI, U.S.A., , on 16 June 1933. Charles died on 20 July 1946 at Owosso (Shiawassee), MI, U.S.A., , at age 13. Charles was killed when his bicycle was hit by a motor vehicle while he was visiting in Owosso..
