FORT YATES - Verald Hollow, 47, Fort Yates, died March 24, 2008, at Regions Hospital, St. Paul, Minn. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, at A.J. Agard Memorial Building, Fort Yates. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Bullhead, S.D.
He is survived by his parents, Vivian Hollow, Fort Yates, and Gerald Hollow, Bullhead; one son, Michael; two sisters, Jo Hollow and Geraldine Hollow, both of Fort Yates; and four brothers, Mercury and Michael III, both of Fort Yates, Gerald, McLaughlin, S.D., and Nicholas, Bullhead. Victoria Mary Good House was born August 7, 1929 in Bullhead, South Dakota to Michael Hollow and Jennie Fast Horse. She was raised by her mother in Bullhead, attending school there.
Victoria married Thurman Good House and to this union one child was born, Jerome Moses Good House on February 14, 1956. Victoria enjoyed being a homemaker and mother, loving to bake and sew and spend time with her family & friends.
Victoria was active in all the church activities at St. Aloysius Catholic Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a part of the Charismatic Prayer Group in McLaughlin in the 1980's, and was also involved in other prayer groups and healing services.
Victoria enjoyed attending pow wows where she loved to dance. She also enjoyed watching her soaps on TV.
In the early 2000's, Victoria fell on the steps at home and suffered an aneurysm and never fully recovered. She spent the last 12 years of her life at Golden Living Center in Mobridge.
She passed away July 8, 2014 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, North Dakota.¹
