Leona Bickauskas, 86, of Lancaster died Monday, July 30, 2012 surrounded by her family at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Frances Sutter Schnader and the wife of the late GeorgeJ. Bickauskas.
Leona was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and passing along her favorite recipes. She was an incredibly nurturing and giving person accepting all people into her home.
She is survived by a son, Richard L. Hollow of Lancaster, PA, three brothers: Elmer husband of Dorothy Schnader of Wrightsville, PA, Richard husband of Elizabeth Schnader of Lancaster, PA, Carl husband of Cathryn Schnader of Lancaster, PA and two sisters: Frances Chant of New Providence, PA and Betty Mahler of Lancaster, PA, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas E. Hollow, two sisters: Mary Mumma and Gloria Huber and one grandchild.1

Obituary
Byron Center - Edward Joseph Hallo, born in Toledo, Ohio on July 14, 1920, left this world of natural causes, April 5, 2020 in the arms of family members in Byron Center, Michigan, 100 days shy of his 100th birthday.
Edward was born during the Spanish Flu Pandemic and died during the Covid-19 Pandemic. He experienced life during the Great Depression and two World Wars, serving as a paratrooper in WWII with the 101st Airborne Division.
Edward met and married his English bride, Sylvia Clapp (deceased), in 1945, and together they raised eight children in Redford Township, Michigan. Those years, rich in family, had Edward often working two jobs to support the needs of those he committed to care for and love.
Edward enjoyed lake fishing, pinochle, horseshoes, picnics, and playing golf in several leagues in his retirement years. Edward, also known as the "baby-whisperer," was a loving husband, father, grandfather, soldier and friend.
Edward was preceded in death by his bride, Sylvia; two sons, Mark and Matthew; a grandson, Kyle; and a great-grandson, Gavin. He is survived by his children, Sharon (William deceased) Dinley, Kathy Hallo, Shirley (Robert) Tooke, Cheryl (Doug) Welday, Carolyn (Leif) Britting; David Hallo, and Patricia (Kyle) Vine.
Edward is also survived by his 17 loving grandchildren, 16 loving great-grandchildren, and one loving great-great grandchild.

Grover - Paul Brian Hallo, 60, of 102 McGinnis Drive, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019, at his home. Born in New Jersey, he was the widower of Christy Renee Isler Hallo and the son of the Edwin Hallo and the late Dorothy Hallo.
Mr. Hallo retired as a welder, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his father, Mr. Hallo is survived by one son, Steven Hallo, and wife, Kathy, of Blacksburg, S.C; one daughter, Kayla Hallo, of Blacksburg; two brothers, Raymond and Tommy Hallo, both of California; and one sister, Arlene Peacock, and husband, Jay, of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, a daughter, Ashley Hallo, and a brother, Eddie Hallo.

Born in Cleveland County, NC, Mrs. Hallo was the wife of Paul Brian Hallo of the home and the daughter of Lester Isler of Blacksburg and the late Mage lArlene Dixon Underwood*
She worked as a warper in textiles and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Baptist Young Women and was a former youth Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Hallo also served in the United States Army for 6 years in addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Hallo is survived by a son, Steven Hallo and wife, Kathy, of Blacksburg; a daughter, KayIa Hallo of the home; and a sister, Lisa Morris, of Blacksburg. ln addition to her mother, Mrs. Hallo was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Hallo, and a brother, David Isler.
